Sears Platinum Certification means consumers can rest easy in their decision to choose Sears. Our industry-leading products and equipment will make your carpets cleaner and last longer. Consumers get a healthier environment in which to live and work, plus a maximum return on their carpet investment.

Two-Step Carpet Cleaning Process

Allergens, dust mites, dirt, and pet dander build up in carpets over time, leaving them grimy and discolored. Our two-step, professionally-recognized carpet cleaning system can extract dirt, remove stubborn spots and spills, and help eliminate odors, and restore color, leaving your carpet looking and feeling fresh.

Step 1: Clean
A special heated carpet cleaning solution is sprayed deep into the carpet fibers to loosen embedded dirt.
Step 2: Rinse
It’s followed by a high-powered extraction and pH-balancing fiber rinse to remove the dirt and cleaning solution, leaving your carpet as clean as it can be.

Things To Know About Carpet Cleaning

The Importance Of Regular Professional Cleaning.

Sometimes carpet dirtiness and discoloration looks obvious, but, at other times, a clean looking carpet can conceal unseen dirt, grime, soil, dust and pet dander. Regular traffic grounds this dust and dirt deeply into carpet fibers, where it remains buried and indiscernible. Just because you can't see this filth doesn't mean that it isn't releasing unpleasant odors or harming your indoor air quality.

While regular vacuuming might remove some dust and dirt from the carpet, most standard vacuum cleaners lack the power to extract deeply embedded dirt. Additionally, a vacuum cleaner's mechanism cannot match the robust effect of a professional carpet cleaning system. With regular professional carpet cleaning, you ensure that your carpet remains free from all of that unnoticeable dirt and grime that often lies within your carpet fibers.

Professional Stain Removal

Once your carpet has undergone professional cleaning, we recommend the optional application of the UltraCare™ Fourguard Carpet Protector. This carpet protector restores the protective coating on your carpet, making your cleaning last longer and allowing for easier home cleanings.

New Carpets typically have carpet protectors applied during manufacturing. However, this protector wears off over time with repeated foot traffic and vacuuming. Having Sears re-apply the carpet protector refreshes the carpets performance. It allows you to pick up more dirt with your vacuum to help keep your carpet cleaner and it slows down how quickly liquid spills soak in, so you have time to clean up spills.

Carpet Protectors and Deodorizers

A not so fresh carpet can leads to a smelly home. Unfortunately,  guests and visiting relatives can quickly detect the odors your carpet can contain. Pets, in particular, can be the cause of these odors, but several other natural organisms could be the source of these odors.  Our UltraCare™ Pet Odor Eliminator uses enzyme-powered elements to fight odor-causing sources. These enzymes can target odors from vomit, urine, feces, sour milk, and other organic products by actually digesting these organic substances. Once applied, these deodorizers swallow up the odor-causing culprits to leave your carpet smelling fresh.

Some Tips on Choosing a Carpet Cleaner

I would like to explain # 1. The Technicians were great, they did their job. My carpets had not been cleaned in sometime. They worked very hard to clean them. There are just 2 small areas that I hoped would come cleaner. I am sure it was not the technicians fault..

Oscar used my bathtub to wash out his dirty soap container and left stains in the tub. I was not comfortable with that. But he gave us shoe covers , which was good.

The technician did a great job very detailed and did his job in a good workmanship manner. Ricardo did meet my standard beyond my expectation. You should have more like him. I will keep him in my next carpet services.

The Technicians were polite and worked well. It is the actual product you use that troubles me. The carpets are older, so stains reappeared after the carpet dried, but it took 24 hours for the carpets to completely dry. That was disturbing, that your equipment leaves so much water in the carpet. It was a hot day, and they should have been dry in 4-6 hours I was told.

The Technicians were very courteous and friendly and after the job was done, the carpets looked very nice. But this morning, after they dried, not so much, most of the spots (and I know they were pretty bad), were still there.
