Had couch cleaned because out cat peed on it. I still feel that it has musty areas and was hoping the smell would be eradicated. I also didn't like that because our cushions were two sided it was an additional $7 per cushion. Felt sneaky of Sears. That said the techs were amazing, respectful, and kind. My problems are mainly with the pricing, not the employees. But the service techs were top notch.

I have just received THE worst imaginable service from Sears. First let me say that I call Sears for everything that has to do with my home and so does my family members. I schedule an appointment to have my sofa cleaned. My husband is at home during the cleaning which is supposed to be an $80 charge. I'm sitting at work and get an alert from Chase that Sears debits my account for $382. I call my husband to alert him to this mistake and tell him at this point I don't even want the service that Sears can actually leave but my husband gets the cleaning anyway. My husband talks to the technician who calls someone and they say I thought you said $382 but I can't correct it, the person who comes in tomorrow will have to fix it. I'm livid at this point but wait until today to call Sears to see what is being done to get my money back....This is where Sears has completely lost me as a customer! Tim Kevkhshvi answer the phone and I don't think I have ever experienced someone in customer service be SO RUDE. I explain my problem and ask him if there are notes about this mishap, he tells me no and my worry was at an all time high. I ask to speak to a supervisor and HE YELLS at me and says "DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M TELLING YOU. IT'S NOT A BIG ISSUE. My husband is sitting next to me and hears him yelling through the phone. I ask for his name and he yells Tim. I ask about his last name and he yells it out in the most sarcastic tone and says did you get that. A CSR is supposed to try to resolve a problem in calm empathetic manner and instead he yelled at me and told me that my money being improperly taken is NO BIG deal. HE NEEDS to be fired. I will write, call, and email all managers and cooperate because this is not the SEARS that I know and once loved. The highlight of this experience was a gentleman named Eric who gave me some peace in getting this matter resolved. Monday can't come quick enough!

We have had our carpets cleaned three times and two of the three times were excellent. This last time the truck motor for the cleaner tool kept shutting down; we felt like the carpets didn't get the best clean due to this issue. I think it would have been better for a different truck to come out to clean the carpets. The people were super friendly and courteous just thought that situation should have been handled differently. I also think we should have been offered a discount off our price due to this incident.

From the time the technician got to my house he was more concerned with his phone calls which distracted him from cleaning carpet to its fullest potential, he spent more time on the phone and in and out the company vehicle than cleaning the carpet. By the time he started cleaning the carpet he didn't spend much time on it, which left carpet half cleaned and missed some areas I tried to explain my dissatisfaction to him and his boss and got no where I was threatened to be reported to police instead of the matter getting resolved, tried calling customer service and got the run around for hours to me the service was a nightmare

Furniture was removed from living room and not replaced. A cheval mirror, bedside table and wicker chair were piled on bed in bedroom and not replaced. Previously, when my carpets were cleaned, strips of clear protector were placed beneath the legs of furniture but not in this case. My only dissatisfaction was with the amount of time it took from start to finish. Their truck had to be turned off half way through the cleaning to recharge for approximately 30 minutes. I had somewhere I needed to be at 12:30 and ended up late since I couldn't leave until 1:00. They arrived at approximately 9:45 and weren't done until 1:00. I don't have a large home so this seemed an excessive amount of time to me. I do not blame the technicians since it was an equipment malfunction.

The only thing that annoyed me was that i paid to have my sofa cleaned and they said the back cushions would be an additional 8$ a piece. I think if i paid to have the couch cleaned it should include all the cushions (minus any decorative pillows of course). For that reason, I probably wont use sears again. Pricing is misleading.

Technician was prompt, explained process, took his time to properly clean the requested areas and worked efficiently. I have several flights of stairs and the technician was alone with very heavy machinery. I had to assist him with getting it upstairs and back to his truck when the job was completed. Technician was exceptional. Suggestion: Get help! Customers should not have to pay for services they have to assist with.

The technicians were excellent; however, the spot that bothered me seems to be there. It is not their work, it might be the products they are given to use didn't take the spot out completely. Also, we emptied the room for them and forgot to ask them to at least help us put back the couch. My husband is 80 and we had a hard time lifting it. It might be a good idea to have the technicians volunteer to help put back one awkward piece of furniture (which the couch was, not heavy, just ungainly). Thank you. We will definitely use you again.

I don't prefer to have a trainee with the tech doing the work. The trainee should be trained on your time, not mine. He also did some work on my couch practicing some of what he learned while watching. Don't you give quality training to someone that is a new hire?? It's pretty amazing to me how it went knowing he was new. Pretty embarrassing for Sears image in my opinion.

#1- The truck was deplorable, Sears should be ashamed to send that to a customers house. According to your website the cleaning was supposed to be a two step process and then the protectant if requested. There was only one step done to my carpet and then the protectant sprayed on. There are a lot of areas that he missed, the areas were still dry and all of the spots are still in the carpet.

The technician didn't use proper precautions when spraying my couch for cleaning. The solution landed on my hardwood floors and left a film. He did use a wet/used rag to wipe up the solution but it smeared vs. cleaned. I also feel he could have protetected my woodwork/walls the the top of the stairs from the hoses. The hoses ripped up my painted walls and woodwork! The carpets do look great despite large bumps in the carpet after cleaning. Those have dissipated a great deal now that they are dry. I do think the carpet was stretched during the cleaning process.

The cleaning was fine, You must have hired an independent contractor, as he was driving an old unmarked van and parked in our driveway, and leaked oil on our driveway, Which I will have to pay someone to remove or do it myself. The customer service representative did not quote me the correct price. I gave him the size of the couch and I was told that a sectional under 16 inches would cost $199 but I ended up paying $260. My couch is 13.6 inches. I was not told that pillows cost extra or that because a piece of the sectional is a chaise that it would also be more money. If it wasn't for the fact that I needed to get it clean quickly, I would have told the techinican to leave and I would have called another service. Not sure if it's to be expected but the couch took a few days to dry and the smell of the chemicals are still very noticable.

The carpet cleaners were almost an hour early, plus I did not received a call to tell me they would be arriving within the next 20-30 minutes (or hour -> whatever the time is, when they're supposed to let you know they will be there). Also, carpet cleaners usually put little plastic sheets under the wood furniture (examples: under the wooden table legs of the dining room table, under the wooden legs of the sofa and coffee table, etc.), but these technicians did not do that. I was surprised they finished in 1 hour (because we had quite a lot cleaned -> 9 rooms, a hallway, and 2 sets of stairs). Maybe they were in a hurry? Maybe they saved time by not using the plastic things under the furniture? And maybe that's why they arrived early (because they rush)?

The 1st - a week ago - was a disaster with soap residue and lines on 1/2 of my couch (they we Not there before cleaning) A new tech arrived today and worked hard to remedy the situation. It has not. Way too expensive for this service, charged me an extra $18 for an ottoman that is part of my sectional !?!? Then I should have paid the price of a cleaning for a sofa and an ottoman but not for a sectional and an ottoman if there are truly two different entities. Very disappointed with the overcharge and I won't recommend Sears, the prices are not competitive at all.

I had asked for a red loveseat to be cleaned. The technicians explained to me that they needed to test the material, they carefully tested the material for colorfastness showed me how it was unsafe to clean it with the equipment they had with them. I asked if they could clean a chair and hassock instead. They tested the material and told me they could do that. My furniture is now clean and odor free. I am quite happy with they quality of service I received from this experienced and qualified team. They did you proud !

In response to my answer in no. 5, we are replacing all carpet with wood flooring by the end of the year, so will not be calling again. We are working on the outside right now and don't plan to work on the inside until late fall/winter. Thought we would get the carpet cleaned one last time. If we planned on keeping the carpeting, we would be happy to have the same team back! We don't need upholstery cleaning as all furniture is leather which we can clean ourselves. Be happy to recommend Sears to others!

My husband and I ended up cleaning a couple of areas with a carpet cleaner from a store and our shop vac. We were able to remove all the dirt and grime that Sears carpet cleaning. I also had to clean my sofa with an upholstery cleaner from a store to remove what Sears left behind.

The technician did not put coasters underneath the furniture and now we have brown spots in the carpet. Also it was not clear what counted as a room. I paid for 5 rooms, a hall, stairs and a landing. I got 4 rooms, a hall, stairs (landing is hardwood) and the bath/closet attached to one room. I did not notice until after the technician left. The stairs job was done properly. The negative rating has to do with the upholstery work. The technician saw the sofa and knew that he was not going to be able to remove what he called "water stains" (what do I know?); instead of disclosing this fact to me before starting the job, he went ahead and vacuum the sofa. Then, he told me that it couldn't be done. Isn't that too late??? I was already in the hole for the $89 fee. That was not fair!! I ended up with the stained sofa minus my $89.

The only "complaint" (if you will) that I have is that they didn't read their notes. I live on the third floor of an apartment building and I have two floors within my unit. They did not bring their portable cleaner. They had to run the equipment from the truck via my open windows. Luckily, everything worked out very well.

I had a widow between 1 and 5 pm. Tech did not show until 5:20 pm. Called the Sears office at 4:30 pm and was told the tech could not find the complex on his GPS. I will belive that once I get back onto the turnip truck I fell off of.

Alex did a great job cleaning my carpet. He was very professional and courteous.The problem was with his equipment, The machine in the truck stopped working and he had to call for another truck. this took over an hour for it to arrive, Not his fault but took twice as long as it should have.

Technicians were prompt, very nice and did a great job! Would love to have the same guys, Mickey and Nick, the next time I use Sears for carpet or upholstery cleaning.

The only thing that I would like is that the technician would cover his shoes, but I do understand that he's cleaning the carpets and will ultimately clean anywhere he steps. I also understand that there is a safety concern with slipping, etc. That said, shoes are not allowed on my carpeted areas ever so it makes me uncomfortable. Besides that, he's great and the carpets and couch look like new! Call me in 6-months to schedule my follow up. Thanks!

No matter who I use for upholstery cleaning, I am always told the cushions will be dry in an hour. That is just not true. If I hadn't used space heaters and fans all day, I don't know when the cushions would have been dry.

Some spots on the upholstery didn't come out although the technician said they would. When the pieces dried, the spots were there. Otherwise pretty satisfied with the job.

The technician Nigel is a man of few words but he did an excellent job on cleaning my couch. He got most of the dirt around the edges out the couch. I'm very please with his work and I would ask for him again when I schedule my couch to be clean. Thank you.

In the past, I have used Sears for carpet, vent, and upholstery cleaning. About two years ago Sears customer service and the handling of my appointment was so poor I began using someone else. I have made this appointment in an attempt to give Sears another chance and Sears failed miserably. I will not be using Sears in the future for any of my cleaning needs.

The Technicians were vert polite and professional. They stayed in touch and arrived on schedule. My dissatisfaction was that the furniture cleaned didn't really look much better than when they started. The cleaning time was only about 15 minutes. To me, that doesn't seem like enough time to professionally clean a sofa and loveseat. NOTE: Technicians did point out it was light colored furniture and may not clean well.
