After the grout dried,there were spots in the last room cleaned. Looked like they were from the hand cleaning. The former was signed that the cleaning was done correctly, but the spots showed when drying. They were not on grout prior to cleaning.

This was a call back form the original service. As I mentioned in the first service Jeremy busted his hump to do the best he could but I can tell he and Joe were tired. The second time, Jeremy made sure he got up all the old wax, which he got up most of it. There is still 2-3%, not sure you can get 100%. Had Jeremy reseal the grout as we found out after the first time Joe missed many areas. He redid the sealant. I have one word of advise, the person who helped Jeremy this time to change the damp mop head more frequently, after floor dried, there were allot of dirt streaks on the tile which was indication it was dirty. Jeremy did a good job both times, keep up the good work.

Overall Jeremy and Joe did a good job. When they got here they noticed previous owner had waxed the ceramic tile. Jeremy gave us a price on what it would cost to strip off the wax which we agreed to, he also stated we should get grout sealant which we did as well. Even though they did a great job on the carpet by the end of the day I think they were just so burnt and tired the tile was a little neglected. There are many areas on the tile which still have the wax on it, there is was residue on the tile which I have been vacuuming up, one table in our game room was not put back, not a big deal I put id back, the drain cap outside was left off I put back on. Maybe not allot of money to Sears, but we paid $1,600 which is allot to us and we felt if the wax was going to be stripped it should all be stripped. Any suggestions on how to strip the rest? Also we had a shop your ways reward points we wanted to put toward this service and also since we paid so much we think we should get points as well, I do no think we got our shop you award credit applied? Jeremy said if we used our sears credit card it would automatically come off, I do not think it did. Again any suggestions or help here?

Payment required was substantially more than price was projected prior to service. Technician did explain it was due to size of the area (Marble tile to be cleaned in foyer). However, chemicals were not used and it was just steam cleaning the area instead. Small tiles/not large but charged per tile. Steam cleaning carpet was 85.00 for 3 room but to steam clean the tile was 185.00 quite a big different when I thought it was 25.00 or 35.00 for the area. Our technician did do a great job and was thorough and was very nice and accommodating. He was charging us a price based on what he was expected to charge for the job, but sure seemed over priced especially since chemicals were not used and it was steam clean job for smaller area than areas that were charged 85.00 to steam clean.

Shawn and Don were very professional. They checked the type of tile before starting to cleaning making sure it was able to be cleaned with their cleaners. They did the job neat and clean. The were both personable and polite. We would welcome them back again.

I requested tile and grout cleaning, which cost me $395. The cleaning actually destroyed my grout and broke and cracked my tile grouts. I am now having to hire someone to re-grout my tiles instead.

This was a second visit. The first appointment, on 1/8/16 was a debacle. Foyer tile damaged. The team that came out on the 15th was to try to assess the damage. They confirmed that the tile was scratched. I am waiting to hear from the manager/owner. I am not a happy customer. Have used Sears several times before for carpet cleaning and always have been satisfied. Not this time.

I had a area rug cleaned. (Size 9x11) the cleaning was done and the rug was then taken outside to dry. There was still a lot of loose fuzz and some dog hair left on it. I was told they would remove it while outside drying. One tech worked on it, but after they left, I when out back to look at it and it was still full of loose hair. So I continued to work on it myself and got it clean. Other than that, the carpet and tile came out good.

I was quoted $30 for tile sealing for a foyer and tiny powder room when I placed my reservation. When the technicians presented my bill, they had tacked on an additional $15 plus tax to seal this tiny powder room, which was less than 1/8th the size of the foyer!! This was a total ripoff! Although the technicians did a great job on the carpet and tile cleaning, I felt taken advantage of by this last minute unjustified charge.

I used Sears Home Improvement last Feb. for grout cleaning, carpet cleaning and steam cleaning of my area rugs. The service was great so I scheduled the steam cleaning of 6 area rugs once again, 2 rugs are expensive wool carpets and the other 4 are from Lowe's. I was called the day before delivery to tell me all carpets would be delivered the next day, subsequent call the same night to tell me delivery time would be 8-10 a.m. I confirmed the time and thanked the service man for calling. The next morning while walking my dogs I was left 2 phone messages from a lady trying to confirm I would be home at 8:30-8:45. Once I received the messages I called back to confirm once again that I was home and waiting for the rugs. The gentleman said ok and he would relay the message. At 9:30 I called once again to find out where the serviceman was and was told it would now be 10a.m. since they couldn't confirm delivery earlier. What???? I confirmed it twice previously. Poor communication!

Another important factor to me was that they were timely and did give me a 20 minutes call prior to arrival.

The technicians had no drop cloths or booties for the protection of our carpets while they dragged hoses through the house. (The job was steam cleaning a custom tile shower stall). They assured us they would not soil any carpets, and would clean any if they did. However, out of our sight, something spilled and a large were spot was left on the bedroom carpet.

Technician listened to music without earbuds. The house was open to the outside the majority of the time even after the request to try to keep the door as close as possible. There are areas that look like they were not treated in the grout and there are still spots on the rugs. Technicians did not wear foot covers while walking throughout the house before, during, or after cleaning. We have in the past used Smith Mathis for our carpet cleaning and only chose not to use them because of not wanting our rugs to be removed from our home for a week. We will go back to using Smith Mathis in the future.

The technician did take the time to measure the sq. ft., the pricing and limit the services on what I could afford. The technician also arrived on time. What I did not like was the fact that the technician was there for less than two hours, cleaned approximately 236 sq. ft. of tile and charge $213. For that short period of time it averages to $100 an hour. For that amount of time, I would expect the tile to shine and the tile did not shine. The kitchen and kitchen nook tile was clean but did not shine. Also, he did clean the pantry but the well worn arean did not even looked like it had been cleaned. Finally, he did clean the shower tile, but where there was a shelf, there was still soap scum underneath the shelf.

I had carpets cleaned on Saturday at which time the technician scheduled me for tile cleaning today. I was under the impression that he himeself would return today but he did not. I was disappointed. He told that grout could be repaired but todays technician said they do not do that. Again I was disappointed as now I have to do it myself!!! I scheduled the service to have sears do the work....cleaning and regrouting...I suppose one of us did not get it right.

Good job except for in front of my studio door. Had to do tile grout myself on a few spots. Also they didn't put all the pieces of furniture back. Just left them with the blue styrofoam lying on top for us to do. The men were very polite and generally good job. We would recommend you to others

My tile floors between the carpeted areas were so dirty from the technicians' shoes that I had to mop the floors after they left. There are even dirty footprints still outside my front door. Next time I would ask them to wear booties all through the house. They did do a great job otherwise.

Both technicians were very nice, I would like that to be known upfront. The tools needed to thoroughly do the job, they didn't have, since I needed caulking removed. I was not told how the chemicals were disposed of until the end, and only when I asked. I am concerned bc I have septic system. Also, it does not look like the requested service of sealing my tile was done. The tech stated that the job was very difficult bc of the space. I believe they tried their best. Perhaps my expectations were not in line with what this job actually entails.

I was promised the techs would be at my home at 8 am since I was first call.....they got there at 842 I had told john the dispatcher I had to be at a meeting asap so it was important....when I called after the techs were not here he acted like he didnt say that....also, I had told him I had tile in my bathroom and the techs said they didnt do tile so I had to let them do another room since I was told I had to pay for it whether they did thT many rooms or not......minimum charge I was told....techs were good....dispatcher was not and didnt tell me the facts...

The stairs have striations on every step. I had to take a solution and clean the grout in the corners of the bathroom. The ceramic floor was not cleaned between the tub and the toilet or behind the toilet because the machine did not fit. 5 inches on either side of the refrigerator was not cleaned because there is no attachment, apparently, to clean in crevises. If the machine can't reach it, it doesn't get done? The chair and ottoman skirts were not touched. They will need to be cleaned again. I needed to take upholstery cleaner and clean the dirty fingermarks of the top corner of my ottoman. The carpet in front of my tall dresser was not even wet, as the tall dresser was not moved even though it's on sliders already. My other dresser was not attempted to be moved. The desk was moved after I moved it after I was asked if I wanted the corner of the bedroom cleaned too. I also moved my bedside table. A chair in my living room was not moved as the front two legs are on small wheels and I was told that it would be hard to put styrofoam under the legs. I'm not sure if it was cleaned around it or not at all. I guess I expected more for what I paid.

I will continue to use Sears for my carpet and tile floor cleaning........but only if the technician, Nahum of the Tampa office, is assigned to complete the services. I have requested Nahum in the past because he has always done an excellent job, is very professional, and efficient. I would recommend Sears services to my neighbors and friends....and have them insist Nahum be the technician.

The technician did not do a professional cleaning job on my tile. I brought it to his attention while he was there and he told me that he was not to get close to the edges. He did not scrub the grout lines between the tiles therefore they are spotted with clean spots and left dirt spots. He didn;t get next to the edges of the cabinets or appliances. There is a huge difference in the areas that he didn't clean proplerly. It doesn't look professional at all. It looks like I might have rented a steam machine myself and tried to do it. It doesn't look like a reputable company like Sears cleaned my tile. I had family over on Sunday and they were not impressed either. I am scheduled for the technician to come back out on Tuesday, October 29 to redue the tile, but this is an inconvience to me because I have to work and I really don't want the same technician to come back. He did do a good job on the carpet as far as I can tell. It looks really clean.

Tile...bathroom...showed them still dirty. Did second time. A little better but only down the middle. Hit newly painted wall and left black marks, probably from hose. Tile...kitchen...could see where liquid cleaner splattered...could see brush strokes on tile. When I called guy back inside, he saw what I meant. Redid but still not good. Grout better and perimeter of tile where they scrubbed grout, but not center of tile. Still do splatters and brush marks. Don't understand how they can leave when they admit wasn't good. Said to call next day and they'd return. Requested return visit with different crew. Hope they will do better. Carpets...was told would dry in less than 24 hours. Three days later and some areas still wet. Sticky to walk from carpet to tiles. Redoing carpet. Maybe used too much soap. Does look cleaner, except for around the edges. Not a happy customer right now. Hope Sears will follow through and get this job completed. I have other things depending on this being done.

Jesse was extremely proficient in his job of cleaning the tile and carpet. He is very knowledgeable person and explained all about the chemicals he used to clean the carpet and tile. He even went out of his way to fix the problem with the carpet at the entrance door way. Raul even took time out to explain the equipment that was being used to clean my carpet. Jesse and Raul make a great team. I definitely will have them and Sears back to clean my carpet and the kitchen tile. Also I will tell ever one I know about the great experience I had with Sears carpet and tile cleaning and the great service Jesse and Raul did.

I'm not happy with the tile and grout cleaning. I paid a lot of money for it, I still have grout that's not very clean and after the sealing of the grout, I now have areas where the grout is completely white. A BIG waste of money! The carpets came out great.

I guess my expectation was too high. I thought the grout would come cleaner. I know when I scrubbed small areas by hand the grout was clean so I expected a machine could do better. I did not have the time to do 541 square feet by hand. I look what I scrubbed by hand versus the machine and it's a noticeable difference. I own another home and need the carpet cleaned but I am hesitant to have Sears do it. The technician was professional and nothing against him personally. When I mentioned I expected better results he said, "it was the best he could do and I had a lot of dog hair and looked like dog pee in the grout. This is why I called a professional. When my dog died do diabetes she did have an accident. This does not explain why the kitchen area looks the same; the dog was not in the area. Well, back to scrubbing by hand.

I'm not sure if it was the need to get the job done fast to move on to the next customer or just the talking I did with the technician while they were cleaning, but an area about 2' x 3' in the middle of the front room floor was missed so I scheduled them to come back out and get that area a week later. Both the original appointment and the second appointment had 2-hour windows and both times the technician showed up at the end or after that 2-hour window. I work full time and had to take personal time off work both days to get this task taken care of. I think since the second visit was to hit an area missed on the original visit I should not have been inconvenienced. I let the scheduler know this and she told me she would tell her technician to give me a bottle of spot remover. Well, the technician didn't have this on his truck so he said he'd drop it by another day - we'll see. Anyway, my time off work is worth much more than a bottle of spot remover so it would have been more satisfying to have gotten a discount on my next service, or for Sears to have offered to clean another area such as a tile entryway.

Tile was not completely cleaned as I had hoped. There remained areas of gray from embedded dirt on the tile surface along the crevices. Todd and Kenny were very professional and put their best effort to remove the dirt. The tile floor certainly looks brighter and cleaner. I had hoped to have those grey areas completely eliminated but despite extra time spent by Todd and Kenny to scrub away the stains, they just weren't going to come off. I had asked for a follow appointment for color seal service for the grout to see if that would improve the appearance of the tile floor. Edgar and Josh showed up. Edgar demonstrated the color seal but the color did not take well on the grout. I don't know how old my tile floor is but I was left with the impression that it was as clean as it was gonna get. Appreciate the professionalism and courtesy showed by the cleaning crew.

Cleaning did not remove light spots, tech said they did not use spot removers. Deodorizing was not effective; odor remained after chair dried. Needs to be redone, at least the deodorizing. Technician did not have the brush he needed to clean the ceramic tile so that was canceled.

There were a number of spots on the grout that didn't come clean (a large portion did, which makes the parts that didn't much more obvious) we didn't realize it until the next day because we assumed that it was still drying. I feel like it could be done all over again but I'm not inclined to shell out more $ for it again after having it just done. I had to leave the house before the job was completed and I'm not sure if the mud room actually got done as we had discussed??

The use of machinery to clean hardwood floors. An area was overlooked/neglected in the dinning room and not noticed until we moved the China cabinet. We are dissatisfied with kitchen tile cleaning job. We were primarily interested in getting the grout professionally cleaned. I feel that the technician should have cleaned the areas that the machine could not get to. I had dirty tile in some small areas and was told that I could fix that myself by using white vineger. If I am paying to have my tile cleaned then I want it ALL cleaned. That is the purpose of having someone else clean it so I didn't have to. Frustrated. However, the upholstery was cleaned properly.

The carpets turned out good. However, I was extremely dissatisfied with how the tile in the bathroom turned out. The technicians informed me that they would be able to get the white build up off the tile and they failed to do that. The tile did not appear any cleaner. To make matters worse, I was still charged the $54 for the tile cleaning.

The person who came to my house was very pushy and insisted that I needed all of these other services. My $339.00 estimated job cost $759.00. The tile grout was just as dirty as before he cleaned them. Very disappointed with the service.

After reporting the problem: incorrect, measurements, incorrect math on bill both of which will be adjusted by manager. Then manger came to inspect job,only now am I hearing that my grout is old and unable to be cleaned. But then they offered for an additional $750 to "patch it and color seal it" with of course no guarantee! I asked for a refund or partial refund of the poor quality cleaning and sealing and was refused! So much for Sears guarantee of satisfaction. I will make sure to tell everyone NOT TO USE SEARS EVER!!!

It would have been helpful for the technician to explain that certain problem areas could not be cleaned ie doorways from tile to carpet. I should have been asked to check all cleaned areas to my satisfaction before equipment was disassembled and packed and payment required. There was a delay with my service because of a technical issue with the truck I did wait until mechanic arrived but I was not asked if this would interfere with my schedule and if I would need to reschedule. Edges of carpet around ares near the wall are still dirty. Technicians should mention 24 hour drying time or the rep should mention before carpet is cleaned and also the need for fans to aid in drying.

I would recommend the technicians for carpet cleaning. However, I would not use Sears to clean tile and grout ever again it was a waste of $40. My tiles look the same, and I can see dirt and residue that was there before the cleaning. I am disappointed with the tile cleaning and now have to take the time out to do them myself.

Would have liked the technician to have been more thorough cleaning the tile and grout around the toilets. There is a sharp contrast between the clean tile in the open area of the bathroon versus the tile beside and behind the toilets, which is not as clean as the other areas. I will have to follow-up and clean that grout myself using bleach and a toothbrush. I would have appreciated the technician asking me to look at the finished product before he packed up his equipment so that he could have cleaned those spaces that I was not satisfied with before packing up.

Raul and Frank did a great job. They were friendly and went above and beyond to work on some stains and also to spend time after cleaning to give me some tips. I need my air ducts and tile cleaned too. I will be calling Sears to do both. Thanks

The work was done in a timely and professional manner. I under estimated the square footage of tile and carpet stretching in the phone estimate. The amount of my bill increased by $1,200. In hindsight, I wish I would have had someone come out to the house for an accurate estimate. I probably would not have the tile done again as it cost over $850 and only took an hour to complete. This seemed very high for the labor needed to complete the job.

We are still able to easily remove additional dirt with a toothbrush from the grout that was cleaned. The technician I'm sure did the best he could with the tools he had but it seemed like some scrubbing into grout would have helped other than just spraying on the spray and vacuuming it up. I think it would have been better to also use a scrubbing tool in the grout. It looks better than before but looks like an additional session is still needed.
